  6. Fred: Grays River Grange and he didn’t click.  He feels more community focus at Netel.  He is toying with getting back into agriculture but not getting that connection in Grays River grange but it’s rather social.  He is interested for local infrastructure.  Extensive discussion on regional infrastructure, USDA national and state distribution of annual federal money spent on agriculture. Farm to school discussed.

  7. Suggests include workshop series, Grange Exchange and Food Hub Partnerships (Gina), and seed swap (May 11th) with master gardner’s (Barbara).

  8. Duct cleaning scheduled Feb 27th.  Lucky Duct awarded the job.

  9. State Grange is in Tillamook this year

  10. Memorabilia: Dave has a box of Grange history.  He had a letter from the YWCA in 1928 asking for $50.  Traveling gavel (since April 1928) also in his box; its purpose is to be taken meeting to meeting and the book to accompany it is meant to have an entry for the granges.  Last entry July 11, 1991.  The group decided to approach the Brownsmead Grange for restarting the traveling gavel.  Discussed press release (Gina) and media engagement/inviting all granges in area to attend.  (Dirk Rhône - Brownsmead grange member).

  11. Notes from Amy from craft fair:

    1. Needs paper towel and toilet paper (inventory and checklist and make part of the rental duty).  Craig can re-stock.

    7. Amy will come back to clean the kitchen and bathrooms and take out

  12. Rudi researched the railing.  $60-$80.  Gina will check with John (gutenberger) at church.

  13. Art group meets here once a month - Legacy group/Gary’s wife. They have access with membership for tips.  Idea to float and discuss. Balance with cost of heating the space.

  14. Electrical issues - wiring and circuit issues.  Dave will call Craig Lazzeri and let Gina know to see if Pete can meet up and take a look. (LATE ENTRY: Gina spoke with Craig Lazzeri and Pacific Power as they were working on the Grange.  It was explained an issue with the ‘Neutral’ was present and “on the side of the power company.”  They both suggested filing a claim to Pacific Power for “frying” the previous water heater. Craig can get us a receipt of work/cost if that is a path we decide to go).

Meeting adjourned 7:54
