Action Items

1. Treasurer’s Report

a. Bank balance: $9748.16

2. Membership report

a. Removed Karin Webb

b. Added Zacahry Walter, Erica Clark and family, Beth Kandoll.

c. Reviewed NPD members and various in attendance will follow up with members

3. Rental/Event report

a. Reviewed events

b. Totals earned $1045 (rentals, donation for rental basket)

c. Upcoming rentals for April/May

d. Orders of business

1. Smoke alarm shift to back wall to reach from loft

2. Mow lawn - need to be done

3. Key to towel dispenser in bathrooms

4. Lady bugs in kitchen

4. Spring/Summer Siding Project- south corner

a. City Lumber has bid; they can store /deliver when we are ready

b. Larry given check by Craig- $1954.95

c. Rudi to help Grange members to do work.

d. Craig Lazzeri has scaffolding - Larry will confirm

e. 7-19 July blocked on the schedule

f. Rudi suggested a Facilities subcommittee. Thursday May 2nd at 6:30 pm first mtg

1. 5-year plan; he’ll be the chair

2. Craig, Ed, Amy. Suggested: Craig Lazzeri to subcommittee

3. Projects - Stage step railings (Zachary Walter will donate materials and labor), drapes, and 5-year plan

4. Ryan Helligso - has a scissor lift he may be willing to support community event like work on grange

5. Open House - held April 7th

a. Few attendees, one new member

b. Zachary Walter new member and will do railing project in exchange for membership

6. Conducted state votes.

7. Travel Gavel Update

a. 9 April, Tuesday

b. Olney Grange

c. Attendees: Dave, Hassans, Rudi, Craig (5 total) and 5 Olney Grange members.

  1. Olney has 35 members

  2. Most funds come from Hood to Coast Event and beef dinner

  3. Gavel Book signed and they are in care of it

  4. Progressive dinner discussed (Pie in the sky)

8. Grange sponsored event - Maypole

a. Saturday May the 4th

b. Band is secured - Ray Rila and Larry Moore (Brownsmead Flats)

c. Barb confirmed update with Master Gardeners

d. Seed exchange

e. Rudi and Larry can’t make it.

f. Flower table - Need someone to do that

  1. Green tape/ wire

2. Wire cutters/clippers/scissors

3. Flowers

9. Discussed future events like Fall Apple-press

a. Possibly tack onto the October craft fair; start small

10. Discussed Sue Meiners update for health;

a. discussed Gary or his wife Ruth taking flowers to her and reimbursements from the Grange.

b. Meal train discussed.

11. This Sunday Unitarian church will be doing potluck and road clean up Logan and Lewis and Clark about 1 mile. Starting around 12 noon.
